Matthew J. Brown

Matthew Brown grew up in Crystal City, Missouri and graduated from Crystal City High School in 1997.  After High School, Matthew attended Waldorf College in Forest City, IA on a football and baseball scholarship, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Associate of Arts Degree.  Matthew then attended Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis where he majored in criminal justice.  During his time in Indianapolis, Matthew was a member of the baseball team and also tutored varsity athletes in various subjects.

Matthew attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Auburn Hills ,Michigan, graduating Cum Laude in 2010.  While in law school, Matthew worked full-time clerking for the Chief Judge of the Oakland County Circuit Court.

Matthew joined Thurman Law Firm upon passing the bar exam in April of 2011.  During his time at the law firm, Matthew has gained a variety of experience handling family law matters, criminal defense, real estate issues, contracts, and wills and trusts.   Matthew also serves as the Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Crystal City.

Matthew currently resides in Festus, Missouri with his wife, Malia, who is a hairstylist at Ginger Bay Salon and Spa in Kirkwood, Missouri.
