Sean Flaherty

Sean Flaherty grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from the Academy of Math and Science High School in 1990.  He then served a term of enlistment in the United States Air Force as an Electronic Warfare Technician.  Upon returning to the St. Louis Metropolitan area he completed his undergraduate studies and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri St. Louis in 1998.

Mr. Flaherty attended St. Louis University School of Law, graduating in 2001, the same year he was admitted to the Missouri Bar.  During Law School, Sean was a member of the National Moot Court Team for St. Louis University and took numerous classes emphasizing his interest in civil litigation.  Also, during Law School he was an intern at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri and provided legal services under his Rule 13 Certification to many disadvantaged clients throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area.

Upon graduating from Law School he did defense work for a well respected St. Louis Firm. He concentrated in defending first and third party claims on behalf of insurance companies and their insured for a period of almost ten years before joining the Thurman Law Firm.

Mr. Flaherty concentrates his practice in the area of personal injury, medical malpractice, worker’s compensation and social security disability.  He lives in Imperial, Missouri with his three sons and attends First Baptist Church in Arnold, Missouri where he is involved in numerous ministries including the choir.  In his free time he enjoys spending time with his children, reading and meeting new people.
