Mr. Bilbrey was born and raised in the St. Louis area, graduating from Hazelwood Central High School. He and his wife Cynthia have lived in Jefferson County for five years and reside in Arnold with their two daughters. Mr. Bilbrey is a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelors Degree in Communication. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Law in 1999. While in law school, Mr. Bilbrey developed an extensive legal writing background, having served on the editorial board of the Missouri Environmental Law and Policy Review. He has also been published in the Journal of the Missouri Bar. After practicing for a short time in St. Charles, Mr. Bilbrey joined the firm in 2000, and has since concentrated his practice in the area of family law, including divorce litigation, child support, paternity matters, child custody, and juvenile matters. He also a certified family law mediator and is on the court’s list of approved mediators for domestic cases in Jefferson County. Additionally, Mr. Bilbrey also represents creditors, landlords, individuals and businesses in general civil litigation. Mr. Bilbrey has substantial appellate experience, having appeared before the state appellate court as well as the Missouri Supreme Court. He has been a member of the Missouri Bar since 1999, as well as the American Bar Association. He is a member of the Jefferson County Bar Association and a member of the Young Lawyers Association of Jefferson County. In addition, Mr. Bilbrey was a founding member of the Hillsboro Jaycees. |
